Strength Based, Community Surf Lifesaving & Open Water Swimming Programs:
The program's goals are to provide strength based, sustainable programs that connect communities, agencies and individuals to each other, our oceans and their coastal waters through coastal science and conservation education alongside coaching and training in surf lifesaving sports and aquatic safety. Measurable outcomes:
1. Capacity Building – Teaching skills that are valuable for sustainable well-being and lifelong development in the areas of: swimming ability, knowledge of the aquatic environment, leadership, responsibility, communication, problem solving, working with others
2. Increased Quality of Life – Health and well being
3. Community Action – Coastal Safety, Ocean conservation, Service to community
4. Community Partnerships – Developing resources and creating potential for success through relationships with schools, agencies, businesses, non-profits and individuals
